LIPS is an application that will calculate estimated premiums for term insurance, life insurance, and pensions. It's bundled in a win32 application, and is purposely aimed at making quick estimations.
Installing the program is straight-forward, it creates it's own group in your start menu. The program essentially requests information from you, then allows you to move to the next window. The interface is nothing spectaculor, but the program isn't intended to be visually stimulating in the first place, it gets the job done, and proves useful for estimating premiums.
