| TimeWriter XSO
This powerful application allows the user to enter and track hours worked or booked both efficiently and quickly. With it's powerful report generator and extremely customizable interface, TimeWriter will aid you in recording your time schedule. INSTALLATION Very straightforward, simplistic install utility that installs to your folder of your choice. CONFIGURATION TimeWriter comes with a management interface that allows you to customize the elements you want to appear in your application, for instance, you maintain a list of Customers or Clients that you may work for, or the type of activities you would do during your job. You can also setup different departments and colleagues and products you may work on. All this is configurable within the application. INTERFACE The main screen includes a large spreadsheet of different weeks you can drag and drop your hours on, as well as a calendar to make things easier. The color scheme is customizable through the personal preferences. Several views of your data is accessible within the program, as well as unqiue formats the user can choose from. It may not appear as sleek as some other programs, but it gets the job done FUNCTIONALITY Timewriters purpose is to provide the user with the ability to input his/her time table, and later track what hours were worked with which customer, on what activity, from what department, and other defined properties. The way the interface is displayed is very configuarable in the settings. Hours can be printed out, and viewed in many formats. EASE OF USE The program comes with a help menu that provides the user enough with information to understand all parts of the program. It can seem a little confusing at first, but with some patience everything becomes self explanatory. CONCLUSION I found this program very useful for it's intended to do, it's feature rich, generates good reports, and handles some user-defined elements. I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for something to keep track of there scheduling.
