Searchwin is a windows file searching utility that provides the user with the capabilities to search files based on multiple text, dates, and in-file searching. It also has a great feature that attaches this search engine to your Internet Explorer application. It searches much quicker than the standard windows file searching utitily, and allows a DOS mode. The options include things like how to handle directory searches, files found, dates, etc. There's a builtin version checker, and a slideshow help menu that will aid you with learning the program. Files can be excluded from search to speed up, and better define your searches, there is no doubt this application contains powerful in-depth searches. I would recommend this utility to users who don't currenty run Windows XP, since the XP search engine out-performs this application. It is a perfect candidate to anyone running Windows 95/98/Me/2000
