INSTALLATION

The installation process is very easy to understand, quick, and flawless.

CONFIGURATION

Configuration it quite easy, it comes with a wizard to search all the available computers on your home network. You have several options to choose from as noted in fig 1.2 we chose the default and it scanned the network and found all the computers that were on our network, the process took about 45 seconds to finish, but completed doing exactly what it's intended to do.

INTERFACE

The interface is very well put together, it couldn't be made any more user friendly. From one screen you can get custom charts to show you domains, installed applications and a lot of other important data, see fig 1.4 for a screenshot of a custom chart.

The screen we see here was a chart of installed applications on the machine we have selected. From the main menu of the charts see fig 1.5 we could choose from several different charts to get the information we need.

FUNCTIONALITY

For the extent of the time we used the program we collected some data about a machine. This information included applications, CPU size, makes, etc. After installing I used the wizard that popped up to scan my local network here, then we proceeded onto using the program to collect data about all the machines here to see what software we had installed and what not... It's much easier than going into the start menu to see what we had. Why do this when you have it all layed out in front of you. After this was complete, we took and made a simple chart to print off and match our cd database. Then installed the applications we needed. There are a host of options that allow you to export data to a varity of different formats within the program.

CONCLUSION

This software is very useful to anyone wishing to keep track of their network systems, or simply have peace of mind from all the nice organized data. I learned the program inside and out in approximately 25 minutes. I made good use of the help file to walk myself along and in no time i was looking at all my machines data.
