INTRODUCTION
(Excerpt from web page)

Net War is a fun, easy to learn game that blends modern high resolution graphics with the addictive game-play of classic arcade games. You are a network security agent who is protecting data banks from hackers. On each level there are three data banks set in a computer grid that you need to protect. As wave after wave of hackers invades your system, racing down through paths in the grid you must stop them by dropping Black Ice bombs on the path in front of them.

INSTALLATION & SETUP

Net War comes with the industry standard installation method, simply choose your destination directory and install. There is no additional setup required or configuration; there are options to increase/decrease sound and music through the config option on the main screen.

INTERFACE & EASE OF USE

The main screen provides the player with all the necessary options, everything is laid out neatly and large. Navigation through the menus shouldn't be a problem for anyone.

FUNCTIONALITY

The object of the game is to stop hackers from infiltrating your system. You have several ways of stopping them; you can drop Black-Ice bombs on them or activate firewalls that you retrieve throughout the game. The Black-Ice bombs have a 3 second timer on them, you'll need to place them accordingly to where the hacker will reach it in time, it will seem a little difficult at first, but your judging will get better once the progresses. Firewalls allow your databanks to get hit 3 times without affecting your system. These of course act as great insurance if the hacker were to get by your bombs. As the game progresses, the layouts of your system will change, and the behavior of hackers will change. The layouts of the system will grow increasingly more difficult, and the hackers will be given more speed towards accessing your system. Games can be saved, and high scores are also tracked

CONCLUSION

If classic arcade games are your thing, you may want to try this out. It's basic, easy to play, and provides fast game play as levels increase. The full version enables 14 challenging levels and 4 levels difficulty. I would have personally liked to have seen more elements added to the game, other than bombs, hackers, and firewalls.
