This program is much more than the name itself; you can run your entire company with this great program. It tracks everything you need to provide professional service to your clients, employees, suppliers, etc. We're going to take you through each section of the software noting the best features. SETUP The setup is very straightforward and easy, the author has created an excellent step by step system. Each step includes extensive help documentation and all form fields are well defined by text labels. You can do everything you need to give the system your company's look and feel. Setting up the header and footer of invoices is very easy, the way the author has designed the setup system is quite unique and it was a pleasure setting up. CLIENTS Here you can setup your client list, it's really great because you can associate a lot of relevant information. A few of the main ones follow:
a. Client contact information. A really great feature with the clients is the client statistics; it provides a history of everything they've bought from your company. This is very valuable information! INVENTORY/STOCK Here you can define items you have in inventory/stock; the setup for each item is quite basic, but this is good because the rest of it is relational to all the other data. Statistics are provided per client and on a monthly basis, making it excellent for tracking and reporting. This is a great feature. SERVICES This portion of the program is quite similar to Stock, it let's you define services that you offer. This data is relational to all content and provides client/monthly statistics. Very nice. VENDORS/SUPPLIERS With a vendors/suppliers list, you can take full control over managing your supplies. In this section you can add suppliers contact information, suppliers group, people in group, special, special contact information, and unique notes for each vendor/supplier. I couldn't think of anything else you would need. Statistics are provided on what your company buys from the vendor/supplier. Again this is very valuable information. QUOTES The Quotes system in InvoiceIt is great; it gives you an automated way of providing quotes to your clients. You can track who issues the quote, the client the quote is for, any discounts you would like applied to the quote, and quotation sales figures. Some internal options for quotes include applying taxes, automatic emailing, creating invoices, previewing, printing, price lists… what more you could ask for? INVOICES It's safe to say this is the main focus of the program, hence the name. This option provides invoices to clients. You can setup the design of the invoice from the setup menu. We could go into a lot of detail with this feature but we're simply going to say this. There's nothing that is not included with this feature, you can do everything you need to and more to send out invoices. Some unique features we found included the ability to print delivery/packing notes, address labels, and receipts. This feature alone would make the program worthwhile. CONTACTS This section is good for managing contracts with clients. It provides you with very relevant features. Some of them include a list of contracts per client, contract duration, intervals for contract, and relational invoice tracking. You have options to email the confirmation of the contract to the client, apply taxes, print, preview, list invoices due, and print price lists. ACCOUNTS This is more like a checkbook. It records cashbook activity. While this feature may look basic it comes with a wealth of great features. Some include adding/editing your bank accounts, extensive reports, edit accounts ledger, view payments received, client transaction history, unused checks list, reconcile bank statement, automatic payments, and receipt editing capabilities. This software is getting better and better as we go through! DIARY This section has a timetable for every day of every year. You can schedule your entire day with this by entering data for each time. This is very advanced. It also comes with a things to do list where you can enter notes for each day of the month and then simply print it out, among other things! WOW! Need to find a mailing list that integrates with your entire system? Not anymore! Once you click on mail you're presented a list of options that allow you to write select people to your list. Then you click on the button to the left to edit your form. This is great because you don't have to use 3rd party software and extract all the client information. You can just do it inside the software automatically. Another WOW! This feature is built so you can send email to all your clients, or whomever you choose. The same features are included from the mail section plus you now get the option of importing mailing lists from other sources. REPORTS Reports, wow… These reports pull data from your software and give you virtually any report you need. Graphic reports include sales by product, sales person, client, and source. There are too many other report options to list. I highly suggest you take a look for yourself. This ends our brief walkthrough of the software package. We would like to conclude in saying that this software is powerful enough to run your entire company, and we highly recommend you download it. We did not find the software very visually appealing. However this doesn't affect it's power, and we also understand building a graphic enhanced GUI to such a product would be a very painstaking process.
