| CopyToDVD 2.0
INTRODUCTION CopyToDVD is an easy to use burning program that will write to CDs and DVDs. Users can burn files from there windows explorer or import them through the interface. It supports most features other burning programs have, and provides some unique functions of its own. INSTALLATION Very straightforward install. The installation asks the user if they want to install a CD access layer called the 'Patin-Couffin Driver'. This driver claims to be the most robust engine for 'perfect' reproduction of copy-protected CDs, or CDs with weak sectors. The rest of the installation is choosing the directory of choice and the install. CONFIGURATION There is a ton of features to customize in CopyToDVD, most I will cover in the functionality section. Everything is auto-detected and setup automatically, no initial configuration is required to start burning CDs. Install and burn. INTERFACE The interface is very presentable and clean in its design, options are laid neatly at the top in a toolbar; the rest of the interface consists of the file area where users may drag & drop or import their files. FUNCTIONALITY This program burns cd-r, cd-rw, dvd-r, dvd-rw, audio CDs from mp3, wma, ogg, ape, mp1, mp2, and mpeg. It also creates file back up CDs in regular ISO or UDF format. One feature I really liked was the ability to select files in my windows explorer, right click, and have them burned to my DVD right away. The highly customizable configuration panel allows users to perform logging, enable display transparency on idling, enable automatic deletion on re-writable discs, sound level adjustments on music files, multi-language support, multi-session support, and a great caching system. CopyToDVD also includes an SDK for developers who wish to integrate burning and backup functionality into there application. This is definitely the easiest burning program I've ever used. It burned files and music to my cd and dvd successfully and quickly. CONCLUSION CopyToDVD offers supreme ease when it comes to backing up files. Its simplistic interface allows anyone with very little computer knowledge to start making CDs of their own. I recommend it to any user who does not require advanced burning features, or to developers who would like to take advantage of the SDK
